An existing client developed their landscaping and decided to add a fountain to their extensive estate in the Cotswolds. We designed and supplied the lighting and lighting control to bring this splendid feature to life with light, allowing the client to experience this stunning landscape at night as well as during the day.
Bringing a beautiful
water feature
to life with light
Jets of water are illuminated by underwater spotlights using the total internal refraction of the water creating a striking focal point. Energy efficient uplighting to the surrounding trees was provided to highlight the landscape and enhance this splendid feature.
The exterior lighting offers a warm welcome and adds character to the property and landscape. The lighting can be dimmed down for more subtle effects.

External landscape lighting often expands the space and highlights the natural exterior. Here the fountain and landscape are subtly illuminated with an appropriate soft glow of light from the water jets casting a faint aura onto the surrounding landscape.
Control from
the main house for
added convenience
We expanded the clients existing lighting control system by wireless link so that the lighting and fountains could be controlled from the rooms that look onto this area. The pre-set scenes ensure the appropriate level of illumination is provided at the relevant times. The lighting is also controlled via a timeclock to ensure the lighting automatically switches at the appropriate time.
