Based in the centre of Birmingham, this Cantonese Restaurant is one of the city’s most loved and well-known restaurants. Their menu offers all the favourites you would expect as well as a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
We’ve worked with this client across their portfolio of restaurants, so when they were planning a soft refurbishment, we were asked to provide lighting design and equipment to their dining areas.

Our strategy was to use the smallest possible equipment to discreetly provide a pinspot highlight the tables and artwork as well as provide ambient lighting.
A layered lighting approach was taken to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout the dining area.
The results are discreet,
elegant, and striking.
Creating a controlled environment was crucial at this lighting design project to guarantee a comfortable customer experience. We added layers of individually controlled lighting to create a perfectly balanced lighting scene which automatically change as the day merges into night. This ensures that the restaurant routinely has the desired ambience at the relevant time of day.
