This hotel, located in Berkshire, offers guests a relaxed dining experience for breakfast and dinner in their hotel restaurant.
Working with the Interior Designer and Restaurant Operator, we designed the lighting for the hotel restaurant which is used throughout the day from breakfast until late in the evening.
Bringing the space
to life with light
We used LED lighting throughout the restaurant to provide the best possible ambience to compliment the contemporary design and artwork, providing guests with a welcoming and relaxed environment.
Luminaires dim down automatically for more subtle effects
Carefully grouped low energy LED downlights provide general lighting whilst the simple but elegant pendants provide a subtle wash over the tables creating the perfect ambience.
Highlighting architectural features such as window reveals adds depth and draws your eye beyond the space whilst the concealed lighting in joinery details and shelving creates a timeless and elegant atmosphere. Interior designer specified wall light were installed creating a relaxing, warm ambience.
The lighting was controlled via an easy-to-use scene-setting system with a variety of scenes to suit the different services and events. This is controlled automatically via a timeclock, allowing for the preferred ambience at the appropriate time of day, providing ease of use and reliability.

Lighting for a Cantonese Restaurant, Birmingham
Based in the centre of Birmingham, this Cantonese Restaurant is one of the city’s most loved and well-known restaurants. Their menu offers all the favourites you would expect as well as a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We’ve worked with this client across their portfolio of restaurants, so when they were planning a soft refurbishment, we were asked to provide lighting design and equipment to their dining areas.
