We provided lighting design and supply services for this Modern Barn Conversion located in Bedfordshire for the client’s kitchen extension. We presented and suggested lighting ideas for high ceilings to help achieve the client’s vision.

Surface mounted adjustable spotlights were mounted on the pitched ceilings to highlight the kitchen units and working areas, creating a practical and functional space whilst remaining discreet and elegant.

We used energy efficient LED inground uplights to graze the oak structure of the building and bring light to the architectural interior and exterior detailing.
To control the various layers of light and cater to the different lighting scenes in the space, we provided a lighting control system. The lighting scheme was intricately designed, to ensure it not only complements the architecture but enhances it.
Subsequently, we undertook further lighting design projects for this client to enhance additional areas with light. A great advantage of lighting control systems is that they can be adjusted, adapted and added to in the future.
