Lighting to meet the needs of professionals and patients

Lighting plays a crucial role in ensuring healthcare spaces are comfortable for both patients and staff. We provided a flexible lighting solution for the CT Suite, allowing staff or patients to easily adjust the rooms ambiance and colour, through a single button press.

Colour changing lighting delivers a calming ambiance

Pre-set colours and scenes can be recalled through a single press on the lighting control keypad, providing a comforting wash of colour on the walls and enhancing the room’s mood.

We ensured the dimming quality is smooth and flicker-free, using DMX and DALI protocols, providing seamless control and optimal lighting performance. This enables staff to operate without any visual discomfort, providing patients with a reassuring atmosphere.

Backlighting to the decorative ceiling panel enhances the natural imagery, soothing patients during testing and offering a focal point of visual interest. Providing subtle illumination on the space below ensures tasks can be completed safely and efficiently.

Scene setting for ease of operation

The lighting control system is user-friendly and offers simple control, featuring engraved keypads to recall various colours and sequences as well as the option to set the lighting to white for professional use or during non-testing hours. Keypads were specified inside the CT Suite as well as in the Control Room allowing effortless control from multiple locations and providing functionality for both patients and staff.
